About Kalyn
Kalyn is Alaska's premier newborn photographer. Specializing in newborn and maternity fine art portraiture She is the perfectly blended newborn photographer. Between her university studies of art including watercolor, sculpting, design, and her history as a Registered Nurse with experience working in the NICU, Pediatrics, Post Partum/L&D, and Birth Center setting. she is ideally suited to putting babies and families at ease to create and capture beautiful portraits celebrating life’s greatest moments no matter how tiny.
Kalyn’s Eagle River studio is filled with props, buckets, bows, outfits, and gowns available to clients. All elements are specially crafted and collected to reflect Kalyn’s organic and timeless style. Every aspect of your session is planned out and curated to your taste. In addition to being full of props, Kalyn’s studio is welcoming and inviting with all the comforts new families and their littlest members need. With snacks, drinks, and comfy couches many new Daddies fall right into napping while older siblings play in the play area during sessions.
As a mother Kalyn understands how special being one of Babies' first outings can be and shapes all sessions to meet Babies' needs.
Safety and comfort for infants and families is of the utmost importance in Kalyn’s studio. She believes when everyone is relaxed and happy art follows naturally.
